Sales and Such II

  

Because the summer season is pretty much over, many retailers are desperately trying to clear their summer stock.  Now is the best time to go to your favorite store and stock up on classic summer staples for as much as 75% off.  I won't try to list all of the stores with a summer clearance but, here are a few that caught my eye:

  I mentioned the sale I found at express.com in Friday's post, but just in case you haven't read it yet, you can just click on the word sale.  For additional savings, you can click on 5 days to save.  

  Today is the last day of the 20% off sale at Ulta.  You can save 20% off online and in-store--I almost forgot about that one!  I went through their online clearance section and only a couple items stood out to me but don't let that discourage you check it out, you might see something you might like.

  Gap has a sale on all of their summer merchandise and they have quite a few things left online--check it out.

  The Limited has a few items left for 50% off.

  In addition to Banana Republic's summer clearance, there is 30% off select fall essentials for a limited time.  The sale is over on the 7th.

I am sure your favorite stores all have some good deals also.  They will have some classic styles and some trendy ones but if you are wondering whether or not a certain look will return next spring/summer, take a sneak peak at the websites of some of the trendsetting designers that I mentioned in Friday's post.  They most likely have their spring/summer 2010 collections up so you can stay ahead of the game.
