Great Skin Tip for Brides!

Besides drinking plenty of water, exercising, and getting the proper amount of rest, taking care of your skin is key to looking and feeling your best on your big day.  If you are planning to get married in the spring or summer, it's not too early to start implementing these good habits into your daily regimen.
One of my favorite homeade facial treatments is the yogurt mask.  Yogurt contains lactic acid which is a naturally occurring alpha hydroxy acid. Lactic acid is a natural exfoliant so it leaves your skin looking and feeling fresh no matter what your skin type.  Lactic acid can be helpful with combatting acne, wrinkles, psoriasis, and more.  It is very gentle so it can be used by those with sensitive skin.
I like to use Stonyfield's organic plain yogurt with a bit of fresh lemon juice.  I usually leave the mask on for about twenty minutes; however, I will admit that I have fallen asleep with it on and no harm was done.  I have used it after a mild breakout and it works wonders, even without the lemon juice.
If your skin is dry, you can mix equal parts honey (a natural humectant) and yogurt and apply.
Of course this tip isn't just for brides, try it out and let me know what you think....
